Leadership Formation
Wholistic Leadership has been engaged by the Christian Brothers Africa Province to help form sets of newly professed brothers to be spiritually mature, relationally healthy, effective leaders.. The intention is to intentionally prepare a generation of courageous and sacrificial leaders who will lead the way in reflecting light into a world where darkness is the default — a generation of leaders who will bring thoughtfulness, conviction, hope, resourcing, strategic thinking, and deeply rooted care to the institutions and people they serve. This is what will result in the cultural shift that will immensely contribute to the profound revision of the congregation.
Chapter Facilitation
Andrew Otsieno and Hedwig Nafula of Wholistic Leadership were invited to facilitate the Africa Province Chapter held in Stellenbosch South Africa and subsequently supported the Province Leadership Team in developing the “Roadmap to 2028.”
Leadership Accompaniment
At the end of the Chapter, the Africa Province Leadership Team invited Wholistic Leadership to facilitate an initial team development clarity retreat. And now we provide ongoing Leadership Accompaniment to the Provincial Leadership Team.
Leadership Governance
Focusing specifically on the governance question, Christian Brothers East Africa Area have have engaged Wholistic Leadership to equip the Congregational Trustees with the ability to discharge the safeguarding role, including putting in place and animating respective ministry boards, recruiting heads of ministries and holding them capable, and mastering what it takes to foster the vision of the congregation in ministries.
Assembly Facilitation
Hedwig Nafula of Wholistic Leadership was the co-facilitator of the first Christian Province Africa Province Assembly held in Nairobi using a process based on the “U Theory.”
Performance Appraisal
Wholistic Leadership conducted performance appraisals of the Mission Development Office with the intention to provide helpful feedback for their professional and personal development, strengthening the MDO and also making strategic decisions.
Mission Accompaniment
Wholistic Leadership was engaged to facilitate a process to consolidate the small ministries (MRCK, ERAN & ERKG) into a functional sustainable entity - that is effective and efficient - under the MDO.
Organizational Assessment
At a time when there was turbulence, Wholistic Leadership led an independent review of leadership and administration at Edmund Rice Secondary School, Sinon, and facilitated strategic planning.
Leadership Accompaniment
Andrew Otsieno of Wholistic Leadership was engaged as part of a team that was responsible for the recruitment and on-boarding of the new Director of Ruben Centre and facilitated Leadership Team and Board Development including acting as a resource team. Later, Wholistic Leadership was retained to provide Leadership Accompaniment to the new leadership team.
